The approach to care that defines this practice
Comprehensive, not piecemeal
Family, cosmetic, implant, and orthodontic care under one roof. Your treatment plan considers the whole mouth, not just the tooth that hurts.
Airway-aware
AAOSH training means we evaluate breathing, sleep, and bite alongside cavities and gum health. Most general dentists are not trained to do this.
Modern tools, fewer compromises
3D CBCT imaging, intraoral digital scanning, and BrainTap relaxation technology, invested where it matters for your care.
Documented, transparent care
Verified NPI, listed memberships, and a written treatment plan with itemized pricing before any work begins. No surprises.
Why patients choose Dr. LaDuque
Three reasons come up in nearly every long-term patient relationship.
A different lens on the mouth
Sleep, breathing, bite, and inflammation are evaluated alongside the standard dental exam. Patterns most general dentists miss are caught early.
One dentist, decades of relationship
A single provider watching the same mouth over years catches what a first-visit dentist would not. Multi-generational families share appointment slots.
A network of coordinated care
Sleep physicians, ENTs, myofunctional therapists, and specialists are all referred and coordinated when their work is needed alongside ours.
Verifiable
Public-record credentials

The clinical lens
Why airway dentistry matters
The conventional dental visit looks for cavities, plaque, and gum disease. Those matter. But the mouth is also the front door of the airway, and the way a person breathes, especially during sleep, leaves visible evidence on the teeth, tongue, and bite long before a sleep study confirms a problem.
AAOSH-trained dentists are taught to read those signs. Worn-down teeth, a scalloped tongue, narrow arches in a child, recurrent canker sores in an adult, each can point to airway and oral-systemic issues that ripple into headaches, fatigue, and cardiovascular risk.
At Dental Excellence we incorporate airway assessment into routine checkups for children and into comprehensive exams for adults. When indicated, we coordinate with sleep specialists and ENT physicians; when oral appliance therapy is appropriate, we deliver it in-house using digital scanning and 3D imaging.
